2 levels to go / 2 niveles para acabar

I'm doing some basic cvar control into config utility too... tutti frutti shots with some new and most 2.0 textures with some tweaks. Screenshots from game and not editor, so they are sharper than the last showed.

También estoy poniendo un control básico de 2 o tres comandos dentro de la utilidad de configuración del mod.... y tutti frutti de capturas con algunas nuevas y la mayoría pequeños ajustes en texturas de la 2.0. Las capturas son desde el juego, y no desde el editor, así que son más nítidas que las que he ido poniendo últimamente.

  4. It's amazing that one person make more an much better texture work than the entire team from crytek. congratulations!

    Just one question. After 2.0 do you plan to make more improvements? More POM textures, active tessalation on other objects, etc.

    Sorry to ask more, but now you are the only hope to make Crysis even prettier ;-) .

  5. This will be 3.0, and I am using a lot of memory now... 1 gb gpus will suffer with this. So, probably not, I don't add more displacement maps in the future that can't fit into vram.

  6. You are the master here, but from what i understand displacement map (8bit color) don't eat has much memory like color/texture maps. Correct?

    Put into interior places maybe, where texture usage (i think) must be lower than exterior.

    And from i read, crytek put many displacement maps into stupid objects (like concrete barrier). Disable this to free more moeory to other useful places coul be a idea.

    If i can tell you an advice, release this mod with the original ToD, maybe some people dont like BlackFire's ToD and anyway he will add your updated mod inside his when you will finish your fantastic work. ;)

  11. @GalaxyX, I think that would be pretty impossible, as HE would also need a system with 4GB of Vram to make content suitable for people with 4GB of Vram xD. Also what single card out there has 4GB of Vram? :P.

    Dont tell me u had yourself being fooled by the hardwareshops which say that a 6990 has 2x2 gb vram ^^

    @maldo maybe a 2,5gb gtx 570 would have been better for u to buy ^^ Quality shouldnt suffer from people still having 1gb cards in 2011 as 2gb cards are available for less then 200 €.I hope u push the graphics to its limits.If people want to play a game with maximum graphics then they should also buy the proper hardware.

  13. Hola maldo te molesto con una consulta.
    Tengo un bug que me pasa seguido y es el siguiente:
    Cuendo el personaje muere, todo el hub se pone borroso se distorciona y la imagen se pono como con un gama muy alto, bueno el problema que tengo es que al levantar el ultimo save el hub se sigue viendo con distorcion y borroso y despues de un rato jugando con ese error se pone toda la imagen distorcionada como si estaria muerto pero no lo esta.
    Para que se arregle el bug tengo que salir del juego y volver a entrar.
    ok espero que se haya entendido y perodon por la molestia

  15. I have 2 gb VRAM and I already think it's enough. But adding TOD and others tweaks to the mod, i think that 2gb of vram will be reached easily.

  17. Wow!I'm mindblown.I can't even imagine how you must haveve worked hard to do all that.

    I'm just waiting you to finish this so you can send me your modified levels so I can add my TOD Settings.

    -Shone- (promukaj) just released a new version of his Quality Mod, which included some cool stuffs like head bobbing and improved dynamic DOF.

    I'll wait to include that too in your levels modifications.

    But, don't worry, keep doing your work without rush, I can do that modifications in 1 day.

  25. I'm the guy who said that needed a release date.
    Your work is progressing very well though I think it's a shame to put this into Blackfire Mod.
    It should be Maldo's Mod with the add of Blackfire TOD, not the other way around.
    The big work is Maldo's.

    Anyway, something i noticed is in the second level when you gotta use the visor, the white door you destroy (when you try to open it) has bad light reflection on it and is too bright and if you turn around the house you see very bad textures all around.
    You'd better change that cos its quite ugly.
    Anyway i appreciate your work.

    Yes, I'm a hundred percent agreed with namesis..

    The great work is come from Maldo.. how come it had been known as an integration of BlackFire mod?

    Blackfire just modified TOD which is way way easier than Textures work

  29. I agree with the previews comms. I think it's must be Maldo's Texture Mod with in options BlackFire's TOD (which use another Quality Mod which required more work than the TOD and which I don't like so much. Too much vivid colors and lights which ruins the ambiance).
