June 6, textures / Texturas del 6 de junio

Finally, after this batch, there are only 3 or 4 textures and an overview to get you to download the mod. We'll see later if I give it a second coat of paint in the future.

Here is one of the textures that more work has given me. This grass texture appears in many places. The most critical is the beginning of level around Madison Square. But we can see it in many other levels. The difficulty of this texture is that it appears as very large surface ground, so it is essential not to show pattern effect. In the original texture that is very well resolved, but is very low resolution to appear many times in the game. Finally, I made many pictures from different angles and different lighting to the grass of a park and mix all to give enough variety to the texture color. Then I create a bumpmap texture with 3 mixed layers. Hope you like the result, I love it.

Other than that, I added some new detail textures (marble, stone, wicker bags of sand and carpet to carpet and sofa.)

I fixed the wooden pallet with a layer of detail and displacing the texture (it had black borders), some graffiti, the explosive charges have also been pretty good, the EMAT wall that left (there are 2 emat walls), the blue bricks (maybe I down saturation a bit and up contrast) ...

I have also taken and retouched two images from the web CGTextures that crytek was used for two textures and I found the best way to better and respect the originals.

Today my second child is 10 days and is 53 cm.

Por fin, después de esta tanda, solo quedan 3 o 4 texturas y un repaso general para poner a descargar el mod. Ya veremos si más adelante le doy una segunda capa de pintura en el futuro.

Aquí hay una de las texturas que más trabajo me ha dado. Esta hierba aparece en muchos sitios. El más crítico es todo el inicio del nivel Madison Square. Pero la vemos en otros muchos niveles. La dificultad de esta textura es que aparece como suelo en superfícies muy grandes, por lo que es esencial que no se note demasiado el efecto de repetición de patrón. En la textura original eso está muy bien resuelto, pero es de muy baja resolución para aparecer tantas veces en el juego. Finalmente, hice muchas fotos desde distintos ángulos y diferentes iluminaciones al césped de un parque y las monté todas para darle suficiente variedad cromática a la textura. Luego hice un mapa de relieves con 3 capas mezcladas. Espero que os guste el resultado, a mi me encanta.

A parte de eso, he añadido algunas texturas de detalle nuevas (mármol, piedra, mimbre para los sacos de arena y alfombra para alfombras y el sofá).

He arreglado el palet de madera con una capa de detalle y desplazando la textura (tenía bordes negros), algunos graffitis, las cargas de explosivo también han quedado bastante bien, el muro EMAT que quedaba (ya están listos los 2), los ladrillos azules (quizá les baje un poco la saturación)...

También he repescado y retocado dos imágenes de la web CGTextures que crytek había usado para dos texturas ya que me pareció la mejor manera de mejorarlas respetándolas.

Hoy mi segundo hijo cumple 10 días y ya mide 53 cm.
